OLED Forum
Organized by
HKCCMA and
HKSTP,
co-organized by AHKEA,
HKOEA
and SID Hong Kong Chapter, a full-day OLED Forum was
held on March 28, 2003 at Convention hall of Hong Kong Science
Park, over 120 participants attended this event.
The Forum started at 9:30 am, Mr. WH Ng, the chairman of HKCCMA,
delivered an Opening
Speech and Mr. CD Tam,
the CEO of HKSTP, also delivered a welcome
speech to all participants.
Then, Mr. YS Kim, President of Visiontech Asia Limited introduced the OLED industry and his
company,
Mr. JW
Park of Vistorm presented the topic "OLED Overview - Technology
and Market".
Mr. Takeda Hirokazu of
Evatech presented their OLED Photo line, and Mr. KB Bae of ANS
delivered the topic "Deposition Machine for large size
substrate" in the morning session.
A nice buffet lunch was arranged at Hong Kong
Science Park's
Cyber Cafe,
it was a good networking hour for participants.
After the lunch, the HKSTP Marketing General
Manager Mr. Ricky Ma and Marketing Manager Mr. Dickson Leung
have arranged a presentation about the the Hong Kong
Science & Technology Parks, and a tour at Hong Kong
Science Park.
The afternoon
session was started by
Dr. Andreas M.
Richter of Sensient Imaging Technology GmbH with the topic "Recent
Development Activities at Syntec for OLED Material". then,
Dr. Eric
Chang of E-Ray with topic "New
Dopants & Mass Production of OLED Materials",
Dr. WY Kim of
Luxell with topic "Black
Layer TM Solutions for OLED", ENC with topic "Electro Optical
Machine" and the last talk by Dr. Stephen Lai of SOLOMON Systech
Limited with topic "OLED Driver Controller".
The OLED Forum was ended at 5:30 pm
successfully, participants got knowledge in decision making to
support the
emerging industry in technology, material and equipment.
