Hong Kong Display Industry Alliance Meeting and Dinner 
 

Organized by HKOEA and HKCCMA, a Hong Kong Display Alliance meeting was held on May 14, 2004 evening at Room B6605, City University of Hong Kong, over 30 senior executives, researchers and professionals of HK electronic industry/ academies attended the meeting.

Mr. Kenny Chow, General Manager of Lite Array OLED (BVI) Co. Ltd., started the meeting by presenting the OLED market trend. Then the Convener Mr. Thomas Tang, Chairman and Managing Director of Elec & Eltek,  introduced the purpose of the meeting, industry/academic contribution & commitment, as well as the role of ITC. After discussion and exchange of opinions, it was decided to use "Hong Kong Display Industry Alliance (HKDIA)" as the name of the alliance,  to focus on OLED's research and development. All participants signed to confirm the joining of the HKDIA, AHKEA is one of the member of the HKDIA.

HKOEA and HKCCMA were voted to arrange the second meeting on June 5, 2004 to work on interim scheme and further actions.

After meeting, a dinner was held at Shing Hing Restaurant, 8/F of City University of Hong Kong, to celebrate the formation of HKDIA.
