8th Asia-Pacific Intelligent Transport Systems

Forum and Exhibition 2006

2006年第八屆亞太區智能交通系統論壇及展覽

Organized by Intelligent Transport Systems - Hong Kong (ITSHK) and supported by more than ten organizations, the "8th Asia-Pacific Intelligent Transport Systems Forum and Exhibition 2006" was held in Convention Hall, 2/F (Old Wing) Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. More than twenty exhibitors from all over the world demonstrated their products and services in the exhibition venue.

由Intelligent Transport Systems - Hong Kong (ITSHK)主辦及十多個商協學會支持之「2006年第八屆亞太區智能交通系統論壇及展覽」於七月十日至十三日在香港會議展覽中心舊翼二樓會議廳舉行,有數拾家來自各地的相關機構參展。

Being one of the supporting organization, the Automotive Electronics Solution Group Chairman of America Hong Kong Electronics Association Mr. Lawrence Wong led the team to attend the Opening Ceremony and Exhibition on 10th July.

作為支持機構之一,美國香港電子商會之汽車電子零部件方案部黃國雄部長帶領會員應邀出席其於七月十日舉行之開幕典禮及參觀展覽。

At 9:00a.m., the Opening Ceremony began with the ITSHK Chairman Jason Wong delivering the welcome speech.  Joshua Law, Permanent Secretary for the Environment, Transport and Works (Transport) The Government of the HKSAR, followed by other industry representatives, delivered key note speeches of different themes. By analyzing the latest ITS development across various metropolitan cities in the world, experience could be deduced and valuable lesson was learnt. Subsequently, a solemn ribbon-cutting ceremony was carried on, which officiated the commencement of the four consecutive days of events.

早上九時,大會進行開幕典禮,ITSHK主席黃兆豐先生首先致歡迎辭,並邀請環境運輸及工務局常任秘書長(運輸)羅智光先生及交通系統有關行業代表作出專題演講,總結業界經驗,分析全世界數個大都會最新之交通系統上之發展。接著,大會進行隆重之剪彩儀式,四天的論壇及展覽正式開始。
