Kickoff Ceremony and Seminar
 

An Eco-Design and Manufacturing Programme for Electronics Products Kickoff Ceremony and Seminar was held on April 29, 2006 at Chiang Chen Studio Theater, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Hung Hom, Kowloon.

This project kickoff ceremony was held jointly by The Hong Kong Polytechnic University's Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering and School of Design  and supported by the Innovation and Technology Fund of the Government of the HKSAR.   

Kickoff ceremony was started at 10:00 am. Prof. JM Ko, Vice President (Research Development) of PolyU delivered welcoming remarks.

Then, a speech was delivered by Officiating Guest Mr. Gordon Leung, Deputy Commissioner of Innovation and Technology Commission of HKSAR Government, and a speech by Prof. KB Chan, Chairman of Hong Kong Green Manufacturing Alliance and Chairman of the Hong Kong Electronic Industries Association.

Dr. SW Lui, Vice President (Partnership Development) of PolyU presented souvenirs to guests and sponsors.
