Mr. William Yim, graduated from Hong Kong Polytechnic on Electronics Engineering. He started his business in 1983, manufacture and supply Advanced Manufacturing and testing systems for Telecommunications and Electronics assembly industries in Hong Kong and Mainland China market. In 1990 and 1991, he received the Hong Kong Governor's award for Industry, Machinery and Equipment Design.

Mr. Yim is now the President of Sanwa Technologies Limited, founded in 1991 by himself focusing on advanced laser solutions for aerospace industries, microelectronics, semiconductor and the fast growing Optoelectronics industries. He has intensive knowledge and experience on electronics assembly technology, micro joining technology, and industrial laser applications for material processing (e.g. marking, drilling, cutting, ablation, surface modification, cleaning and etc.)

Mr Yim is an expert in Lead-free soldering technology, and is very active in organizing public technical workshops and seminars with private and public organizations to promote these technologies to Hong Kong and Peal River Delta Region.
