Ir. Dr. Aaron TONG is the founder, Managing Director and Principal Consultant of the TQM CONSULTANTS CO LTD - one of the fastest growing local consultant companies in Hong Kong.

Ir. Dr. Aaron TONG has strong consultancy experience in both business improvement projects and certification and training consultancy, including OHSAS 18001, ISO 9001 QMS, ISO 14001 EMS, IMS and etc., for both the public and private sectors. He is well experienced in conducting total quality management, business improvement, BPR, benchmarking, Lean Manufacturing and Performance Management and measurement with favorable results attained. All these solid experiences and achievements made him a quality expert in the field. He has assisted various departments of the HKSAR Government, public/ NGO, various private enterprises, as well as listed companies, multi-national corporations and Fortune 500 companies.

Prior the establishment of TQM CONSULTANTS CO LTD, Ir. Dr. TONG was the Head of Quality Dept. of Computer Products Asia-Pacific Ltd., there he had helped the company to receive two Hong Kong Governor's Grand Awards in Productivity and Quality (1992) and a Certificate of Merit in Environmental Performance (1993) in the Governor's Award.

Ir. Dr. TONG has over 20 years' solid experience in top management positions in various manufacturing and service set-ups and has been undertaking large quantity of social work for various organizations. He is the Chairman of Hong Kong Institution of Engineers, MIE Division; Chairman & Fellow of Hong Kong Society for Quality, 2000-2003; President of The Institute of Industrial Engineers (HK), 1998-99; Sr. Member of The Institute of Industrial Engineers; Sr. Member of American Society for Quality; Chairman of HKU Industrial Engineer Association, 1997-1999; Senior Vice President & Fellow of The Hong Kong Association for The Advancement of Science and Technology Ltd.; Lead Assessor of Professional Assessment, Visiting Lecturer of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University and City University of Hong Kong; Visiting Professor of Xian International Management University and Member of Advisory Committee on Dept. of Industrial & System Engineers of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University and City University of Hong Kong.
